Thales has been completely transformed by Metz Shipyard from a seaworthy fishing trawler to an expedition trawler. The vessel has a steel hull and superstructure. The vessel is 28.32 meters long, 6.72 meters wide and has a draft of 3.00 meters.

The main gathering hall includes a comfortable lounge area, a board table, a central screen and meeting facilities, that make it ideal for board meetings, exclusive product launches, special training sessions, as well as private dining and other occasions for intimate groups. The custom-made 3D carpet sets the scene, incorporating signature artwork especially created by Bob Geerts (AKA Bobeus) to represent the spirit of Thales.

This small lounge decorated with the works of Bob Geerts is characterized by two large wine cooling cabinets. The en-suite restroom makes it independent of the saloon, an ideal break-out room for workshops.

The kitchen aboard Thales is far from a basic galley. Powering up high-end hospitality in line with the yacht’s culinary standards, this space is equipped to be our chef’s fully functional creative base.

A small, shaded deck provides an ideal setting for a break, a refreshment, or an outdoor work session for groups using the saloon. The director’s chairs and outdoor heating will make it hard to leave the comfort of this outdoor area and the stunning view.

The spiral staircase from the first level leads you to the beautifully decorated White Horse Bar. The name is a reminder of the first name of the heritage yacht. Thales Club members get a personal plaque on the spirits cabinet. The intimate and classic pub clubhouse atmosphere will make you feel like bonding with the bartender.

This spacious outdoor deck is where you want to be to get the most impressive views of the Rotterdam skyline or any other horizon you will chase onboard Thales. A large dining table, a comfortable lounge area, a sunshade, and direct access to the White Horse Bar make it ideal for different types of gatherings deserving a wow effect.

For nautical enthusiasts, this is the place to be. Adjacent to the White Horse Bar, the control room of Thales includes some remarkable technology. Meet the Thales sailing crew and feel free to ask them for a tour.

All cabins are for private use only and cannot be booked. The ship is equipped with four different sleeping cabins on the lower deck. The master cabin features a king-size bed and two separate bathrooms, one with a luxurious whirlpool tub. The double cabins both come with a private bathroom. The quadruple cabin has a separate bathroom located on the corridor. All cabins are uniquely styled with a custom carpet designed by an emerging Russian artist named Kirill Rozhkov. The designs of ‘The Dark Water’ are inspired by the magical world and creatures found deep underwater.

Well-hidden in the belly of the yacht, the engine room is where the magic happens. Navigation onboard Thales is powered by an INDUSTRIE 6D41HD turbo, a 6 cylinders engine of historical value. Built in 1968, the engine is a treasure in and of itself. The captain will be happy to tell you more about this mechanical beauty.
